We are so glad we chose the right company to take us up the mountain too! The manager of Bagus Bali was very prompt and responsive to our queries and booking. As we were based in Ubud, our pick up time was 2:15am in the morning. The driver was exactly on time to pick us up! Upon entering the car I noted that the driver’s seat was down and he said he had actually arrived earlier at 1ish am in the morning because he didn’t want to be late for our pick up! I was immediately impressed with his professionalism. He took us to his company’s HQ for an early morning breakfast of coffee and banana pancakes which was delicious. And when we were done, he took us to the base of the mountain to meet our guide Jata Yuna. We feel incredibly blessed to have met such a caring and wonderful guide. He was patient and thoughtful throughout the trek. Making sure that we were comfortable with the pace and checking with us to see if we would like to stop for rests. It’s also a plus that he has a good eye for photography and helped me and my husband take some beautiful panoramic shots of us and the sunrise!

We felt well taken care of by Jata throughout the entire trek and I can see that our safety is of his utmost concern. When we thanked him profusely at the end of such a wonderful morning, he told us humbly that his job was just to ensure that we enjoyed ourselves that morning!

We had such a great time that we would like to return again once our two kids are old enough to navigate the trek! We were glad we went with Bagus Bali for this experience. They were responsive, responsible and professional. We appreciated their services greatly. More

At the starting point our guide Adi was waiting for us. He was really friendly and nice. Very positive and funny man! Of course it was pretty crowded up there, but we also had some moments that we were walking by ourselves. The view was nice although not a real good sunrise because of the clouds. Up there Adi made us a breakfast and we could really use the hot tea because it was so cold and windy up there!! (defenitly think about bringing a jacket!).
We had a great walk and would for sure recommend this company and particularly Adi because of his positive vibe!!!! More

He helped us with everything we needed, took us the quickest route to make it with plenty of time and found a quiet spot so... read more we could watch the sunrise with the whole view and no people. He was also a great photographer and took some amazing pictures and videos!

The whole experience is great- breakfast and drinks brought out to you while you sit and watch the sunrise. The hike itself is really beautiful as well as you walk back down through with views then through the forest.

Definitely recommend booking this sunrise hike - and ask for Gede if you can- he made the whole experience so fun ☺️

Buffet lunch included was at a nice restaurant with beautiful view of the mountain. Water rafting was safe and guide was professional. Overall a good experience and would recommend.
