Private sunrise hike with coffee plantation and transfers - Amazing morning. We were picked up promptly by our driver ‘yoeman’ for the day, who took us straight to my batur. Where we met our private guide ‘Gede’. He was... read more brilliant. Took us directly to hike through the night, with our water, head torches and hiking poles. He kept with our pace and had rest stops on the way up. When we got to the top Gede found us the perfect spot to sit and watch the sunrise, we had no competition with other tourists for all the best photos, he even took lots of photos of us. He made us tea and breakfast which included banana sandwiches, boiled eggs, fresh bananas and chocolate bars. It was the perfect experience just there. Just when we thought we were ready to go back down the volcano, Gede took us further to the top where we were able to see the steam and view around the crater before making our way down. The hike just kept getting better. A swift journey to the bottom bought us straight to yoeman with no wait and minimal issues with other tourist the way down either. We had another amazing experience at the coffee plantation and bought plenty tea and coffee from the local producers to take home, before coming back to our hotel. Highly recommend this tour.
