Wiyan was very knowledgeable of the path and helped my wife and I in the more difficult parts of the path. He also was the best photographer around taking breathtaking photos for us on top of Mt. Batur. We left the summit around 4:15 AM and arrived at the peak 15 mins before sunrise with the help of Wiyan, wouldn’t have been able to do it without him. My wife and I had never hiked before and it was quite the difficult trek but Wiyan was understanding in giving us breaks and taking us through the best path. I would highly recommend Bagus and Wiyan for your Mt. Batur trek - they also give you tea and breakfast before you begin and a meal to have on top of the mountain.
