Wiyan was very knowledgeable of the path and helped my wife and I in the more difficult parts of the path. He also was the best photographer around taking breathtaking photos for us on top of Mt. Batur. We left the summit around 4:15 AM and arrived at the peak 15 mins before sunrise with the help of Wiyan, wouldn’t have been able to do it without him. My wife and I had never hiked before and it was quite the difficult trek but Wiyan was understanding in giving us breaks and taking us through the best path. I would highly recommend Bagus and Wiyan for your Mt. Batur trek - they also give you tea and breakfast before you begin and a meal to have on top of the mountain. There is no better company and guide than Bagus and Wiyan - you can rest assured they will take great care of you. More

The hike was pretty tough but sooo worth the view and experience of being up there. If you’re scared of heights then the summit might be a bit challenging as you are walking next to a crater! We feel SO lucky to have had Mangku as our guide!!! He is the most charming, polite and knowledgeable guide and made our experience even more special as we were able to learn even more about Balinese culture. Haha but our tour guide, Wayan Suar made sure I made it to the top (and back down) safely. He carried my bag for me and stopped/slowed down when I needed to. He made us breakfast and brought us to the highest point with amazing 360 view where it wasn’t too crowded. We didn’t pack warm enough clothes so he gave us blankets to keep warm. He also took some great pictures for us! Highly recommend!
