Mount Abang Sunrise Trekking Tour
Mount Abang is a mountain located at Kintamani District, Bangli Regency, Bali. For go to mount Abang trekking starting point is took about one and half hours drive from Ubud area and about two hours drive from center of Denpasar Bali. Mount Abang is second highest mountain in Bali with elevation 2.142 meter above sea level and this mountain also become the highest point of mount Batur Caldera.
For do mount Abang sunrise trekking tour we will pick up you around 1 until 2.30 am depending by your hotel location to mount Abang trekking starting point. Before start for trekking we will serve some small breakfast for your energy during the hike, then trek to main peak of mount Abang will starting from 3.00 am.
Normally trip to the summit took about two and half hours until 3 hours depending of your fitness level. After 3 hours walking in the jungle, we will arrived at peak 2.142 meter above sea level. If the weather is good, from mount Abang peak we can see beauty sunrise completely with panorama of mount Agung and mount Rinjani (Lombok island) and in west part we could see view of Batur caldera and lake Batur.
During watching sunrise, we will served some local fruit, biscuit, and juice. Around 7.00 am trip down will starting. Normally trip down took longer than walking up, cause some path is slick with wetness. But don’t worry our guide will always take care with you and we also provide walking pole for helping you during the trip up and down. After mount Abang trekking is done, our driver will bring you visit to Lake View restaurant for having second breakfast (buffet breakfast) then visit to Bali coffee plantation or just drop you back to hotel.
MOUNT ABANG SUNRISE TREKKING ITINERARY:
- 01.00 – 02.30: pick up at your hotel with private AC car,
- 02.45: arrive at mount Abang trekking start point, having small breakfast and meet with our mount Abang trekking guide
- 03.00: trekking to the mount Abang summit point is begin,
- 05.30 – 06.00: arrive at peak of mount Abang,
- 06.15: watching sunrise and having juice, cookies and fresh fruits,
- 07.00: trip down is begin,
- 09.30 – 10.00: arrive at finish point / car park
- 10.15: having breakfast at Lake View restaurant
- 11.00: visit to Bali coffee plantation or just turn you back to hotel.
