Got to starting point and meet Carik, our trekking guide for the morning. He was very considerate and professional. Making sure we we’re always safe and stopped if we needed breaks. Absolutely amazing experience!

  Kliwan is the best guide, thank you! - Our tour guide Kliwan was extremely nice, friendly, and helpful. Provided head lamps and hiking poles and helped us carry small items and water. Patient to stop whenever we needed... read more to catch our breath. Very private hike on the way up - we were one of two groups of two total we saw hiking. Checkpoints along the way to catch a break and buy water/snacks. Kliwan was able to communicate well with the two of us in both Indonesian and English. Dress in layers, wear hat and waterproof jacket, shoes can get muddy. Breakfast at the top is very nice, noodles and egg, coffee and hot chocolate. Kliwan was great, funny and thoughtful and we were so lucky to have him! We had fog at the top, still extremely lovely, don’t worry about light rain or fog, experience is still amazing!
