The views are amazing and Jata and his team make this the most memorable hike you'll ever take. We did the sunset trek - we started at about 3.30pm and got to the top at about 5pm. After we ate and explored the peak, the way down took about 45 minutes.
Make sure to wear good shoes because the stones on the way down can be a bit slippery.

He really made the experience, really chatty & gave us the option to go as fast/slow as we wanted. We were even able to choose whether we wanted to go up the slightly trickier or easier route. We chose the trickier and it was real good fun! As well as this we were joined by a lovely young boy Jero lanang who carries drinks in his bag for you to buy on the way up (really good price as well). When we reached the top the views were breathtaking and Jata prepared a lovely breakfast for us. The only thing I was worried about before the trip was being rushed back down but he gave us as much time as we wanted at the peak and helped us get some amazing pictures as well as feed the monkeys! The way down can be quite slippery but again Jata was super helpful. One of my favourite experiences since being in Bali and I would definitely recommend. Thanks again to Jata and Jero who really topped it off!
