He was smiling the whole way up and by the end we parted ways feeling more like a friend than a tour guide.

Not to mention he was the ULTIMATE hype man always offering to take photos, videos, and adding in some cool photographic touches that I will cherish as the best memory I have in Bali.

I had done quite a lot of research and inquired to many companies about doing a solo trip as I am a female currently solo-traveling Bali and all of them asked for double the price and 2-people minimum bookings. This! However, was the only tour that HAPPILY accommodated my solo-request.

Couldn’t be more pleased :).

Able to take many breaks along the way, while local guide provided some history of the trek and area. Arrival at the top was beautiful, breath-taking, and COLD. Mangku prepared my breakfast and I sat and watched the sunrise. Mangku also took amazing photos of me with the beautiful volcanoes, lake and sun as my backdrop. Pick up from Ubud was timely, safe driver. Headed to hot springs for a dip afterwards (almost felt like an adult water park), didn’t spend much time here.
